Meet the people who can help you apply for cost-saving programs that will help you or your business better prepare for winter.  Learn about easy, low-cost ways to lower the cost of staying warm this winter.

Professionals at the workshop will include:

Bill Najpauer from Renaissance Energy Associates: A Certified Energy Auditor will show you what to look for in your home and low-cost ways to make your home more energy efficient. Find out exactly what you need to do to get your home ready for winter, now and in the long term.

Barbara Lizotte from York County Community Action Program: A LIHEAP coordinator will explain how to qualify for the Weatherization Program and Central Heating Improvement Program. Both programs provide grants to homeowners and renters to reduce energy costs. Get information and make an appointment on the spot.

Bob Fratto from Efficiency Maine: A member of the Efficiency Maine field staff will provide information on a business program that provides cash incentives and free, independent technical advice to help businesses save energy and money while improving the environment.

Kevin Leonard from Community Concepts: The Appliance Replacement Program helps people reduce their energy costs by replacing old refrigerators and other home appliances that are inefficient and expensive to operate. Find out how to apply and what’s available.

Maine State Housing Association: A representative from MSHA will be on hand to talk about the Gift of Green, a program that provides a $500 energy audit coupon for eligible homebuyers, as well as other weatherization programs for low- and middle-income residents.

In addition to their presentations, speakers will be available to answer questions on an individual basis.

Please RSVP to our Portland Office – (207) 774-5019, or by email
