o   NOAA is announcing the availability of up to $9 million in Community-based Restoration Program funding for coastal and marine habitat restoration awards in 2016.

o   Through this funding opportunity, NOAA is seeking project proposals from non-federal partners to implement habitat restoration actions that will restore coastal ecosystems and improve coastal resiliency.

o   The deadline for applications is April 6, 2016.

o   NOAA will not accept proposals with a federal funding request of less than $100,000 or more than $5 million over a three year project period
