DHS is still trying to deport him. ALL of these shootings demand full, independent investigations. Justice for Johan. Alex. Renée. Ruben. Lorenzo. Wilber. And the countless others whose lives have been destroyed by ICE—while their families were left to pick up the pieces.

It’s a lovely morning in DC and a great time for a stroll through the beautiful Lafayette Park. Oh wait, I can’t get in without a special pass or an appointment! And Trump wants to make this fence *permanent*! Worst of all, the renovations (which actually look very nice) were stolen from NPS entrance fees. A public park, renovated with public money—and off limits to the public. Ridiculous.

Trump is actually trying to PAY for votes now. It’s flagrantly illegal and pathetically desperate. What he’s proposing would cost ~$1.3 TRILLION—which would explode the deficit and almost certainly worsen inflation. Notice how he’s not even trying to hide his illegal scheme? He is flaunting it, because he knows Republicans will let him get away with it. Fortunately, just like his “DOGE dividend checks” and “tariff rebate checks,” this will likely NEVER happen. DON’T FALL FOR HIS BULLSHIT!

The Constitution is clear: elections are run by the STATES—not the federal government, and most certainly NOT by Donald Trump. They’re so worried about losing power that they’ll do anything to create chaos and undermine the integrity of our elections. Every eligible voter must be heard. Every valid ballot must be counted.

JBS’s owners gave $5 million to Trump’s inauguration. Then a JBS co-owner gets a private Oval Office meeting, and the very next day Trump announces a plan to suspend tariffs on 300,000 metric tons of imported beef. Come on. Flooding the market with foreign beef is a slap in the face to American farmers and ranchers. It won’t fix the underlying problems driving grocery prices, and it sure looks like the people who benefit most are the ones with millions to spend buying access.

Headed back to Washington, where I hope we’ll reach an agreement this week to fund the government and avoid another shutdown before the election. But Republicans are prioritizing their usual messaging bills over serious action to lower the cost of gas, groceries, and health care; address the disastrous war in Iran; confront Russia’s continued war against Ukraine; and end Trump’s latest trade war with Canada, which is driving costs even higher.
