Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) released the following statement on H.R. 38, the first piece of legislation relative to guns that the House has taken up following more than 327 mass shootings in this calendar year alone. Pingree will vote against the bill, H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017. The vote is expected around 4:30 p.m. today. |
