Moment brings hope of putting aside partisan differences

Congresswoman Chellie Pingree issued the following statement on the inauguration of President Obama to a second term:

"The Inauguration is a unique moment when we can set aside partisan differences and look hopefully to thefuture.  The country face some big challenges in the months and years ahead, and I'm optimistic that with President Obama's leadership we can meet those challenges and build a future that is equitable and inclusive for allAmericans.  But the President is right that we can only meet these challenges if we act and work together."
